Terms of Sale

A founding membership is $40 charged on the day you reserve. Founding rate is available for the first 100 numbered slots, then $45 for the next 400 (charter), then $49 (list). Your rate is locked for as long as you stay a member.

Membership delivers two shirts a month at the member rate — any design in the gallery, or one custom shirt of your own — starting with the first box, which ships by February 15, 2027. Completing RECON before you reserve earns the founder pair, which rides in your second box.

Renewal is automatic. After your first box ships, your saved card is charged your rate every month until you cancel. The annual prepay option is twelve months for the price of eleven, charged today, renewing on February 1, 2028 unless you cancel. We state these terms again on the payment page.

Your founder number is issued in the order reservations are recorded and is never reassigned.

Cancel any time from your account page. One click; there is no phone call and no retention script.

Before the first box ships, cancelling refunds your reservation in full and releases your founder number. After the first box ships, a monthly membership ends at the end of the paid month with no further charges; an annual prepay is refunded pro-rata for the months not yet shipped.

If the first ship date moves, you hear from us first, with a refund option.

Shirts are made to order in a monthly run and are not returnable for change of mind. Wrong size or a defect: write to support@covertexpression.com within 30 days of delivery and we replace it.

You can pause a membership for up to 13 months in total from your account page; paid time you have not used is banked and restored when you resume. If you deploy, tell us to hold your boxes or ship them home; your rate does not change.

Single shirts are $30 each, $25 for members; a hidden + subtle pair of the same design is $55. Shipping is included anywhere in the U.S. Until launch, singles are sold as pre-orders and ship with the first drop, by February 15, 2027; if that date moves, you hear from us first, with a refund option. Any design in the gallery or the studio can be ordered, including your own. Members get early access to new drop designs before they open to everyone. Group runs, where a design prints once eight backers commit, are not offered today.

You keep the copyright in the artwork you upload. By saving a design you grant Covert X a non-exclusive license to render, display and produce it for you and, if you submit it to the gallery, to show it to others and print it for members who order it. Do not upload third-party marks, official military insignia or heraldry, valor decorations you are not entitled to, personal information about others, or anything hateful or that would compromise operational security. Every gallery submission is reviewed before it is shown; we may decline or take down a design and we log every decision. Repeat violations close the account. Copyright complaints go to our designated agent on the DMCA page.

Members receive a referral code. When someone reserves with your code, a credit of one month is filed and vests when that member makes their second payment; it is voided if they refund before the first box ships. If you post your code publicly, disclose that it is a referral link.

Base layers are matched to Federal Standard 595C Tan 499 and prints are designed to hold through normal wash and wear. Final garment specifications are confirmed at launch. Dry, the shirt is a plain base layer; whether a printed base layer is permitted in your formation is your call and your chain of command’s. Prices are in U.S. dollars, include shipping within the U.S., and exclude any tax we are required to collect. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
